Bid Me to Come: I Am A Water Walker!

Read: Matthew 14:22-33

✓ Are you a water walker? Are you a servant; a disciple of Jesus Christ?

✓ Jesus himself came to serve! Not only that He was about His Father’s Business!!

What are your goals and aspirations for 2020 and beyond? What are you going to do differently that you did in the previous years? Will you advance or will you continue to be idle and stagnant?

2020 is your year to stop hiding behind that mask; unveil your true self and take the mask off!

2020 is the year that people will begin to show their true colors.

2020 is your year to stop checking for folks that aren’t checking for you; and stop looking foolish!

2020 is the year for you to do a new thing; old stuff has no place in the new year!

2020 is the year that you decide to change!

2020 is the year that you decide to start walking in your purpose!

2020 is the year for you to get out of your own way!

2020 is the year for you to stop being co-dependent on other people and  live your life!

2020 is the year that you will be servant lead and stop being so selfish and self centered!

So we are in the last couple months of the new year and even though we have been in this pandemic; God has still been GOOD!! Stop letting this lies and negative people rule your life, your thoughts, your actions and the path that God has you on! You have to come off the start line like you know it’s going to be popping! Come out the gate like what up? I’m here and ready to take on the day; everyday! 2021 HERE WE COME!!

Lord as I take the first step toward getting out of the boat; I pray that you bid me to come! Show me the way the right way to go; don’t allow me to stray to the left or to the right! Keep my path straight in the direction leading right to you; in your son Jesus name I pray Amen!

Standing Out in an Extroverted World

“I don’t fit in and never will. God has created me to stand out”. Tamara McCarthy

This quote came to me just this week as I was sitting at my desk at work. I love it when out of nowhere some kind of inspiration is downloaded into my mind, spirit and my soul. It made my day and put a smile on my face; has that ever happened to you?

I have always knew I was different! I have never liked crowds, I always hold up the walls at parties; and I don’t mind being alone. Some people will lose their minds when they are left alone; not me I enjoy my peace and quiet.

But when God calls you out of your comfort zone you do what you are supposed to do! Obey..

What does being a Christian really mean?

Let’s start out with what it doesn’t mean:
1. You aren’t exempt from trials and tribulations! Meaning you will still go through some hard times after you are saved and walking the walk; but you have the word to get you through and to be used as your ammunition; when the attack surfaces.

2. You aren’t perfect! People on the outside looking in think that once you get saved and are vocal about it; that you got this crown on that doesn’t tarnish! There are no perfect human beings; the difference is when you give your life back and make the decision to live differently, there is a change in your walk pattern; you backtrack from all the places, people and things you were accustomed to.
3. Being a Christian means you are in training every single day of your earthly life. You will have trials, you will be tempted, you will be looked upon as different; but your responses should change!
4. Your outlook should be brighter and the expectations should be beyond anything the natural eye can see!
Many times when you encounter someone with crazy faith; you think they are just that, crazy! We don’t know what they have been through, what they are going through or what they have yet to face but they will greet you will the biggest smile and give you words of encouragement; motivation and inspiration because of who they strive to be like.
Where in the bible have you seen Jesus down in the dumps? Have you seen anywhere in the bible where he didn’t encourage or empower the individuals that he encountered? The days leading up to him knowing that he would lay his life down; did you hear him speaking or thinking defeat? Did he not go through life with the best expectations?
When you encounter people who don’t like you; how do you respond? Before you answer or even think about it; how did Jesus respond? How did he interact with them?
So many of us are thinking of our haters! That’s what we call them right? She hates me, he hates me! While this may be the true; let’s think about it and answer this question! Who are they?

Stop giving your power away to situations; and people who don’t deserve it!
