Finding Your Identity…..Who Are You? #SpiritualSundays

How many of us go through life not fully knowing who we are?

Some of you will think to yourself: I know who I am; but, do you really?

When you know who you are; you don’t allow others to mistreat you! You don’t allow others to abuse you! You don’t allow others to use you!

Many of us think we need others to confirm who we are. Then we will start to believe it for ourselves. Why can’t we simple just believe in ourselves? Why do we need another person’s validation? What happens when that person comes along and does more harm than good?

Many of us weren’t taught at an early age; who we were and what we should stand for. So many of us grew up lost and it continued into adulthood. When we had kids we still didn’t fully know who we were and we continued the cycle!

I’m constantly reminding myself of this scripture:

“Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV)

As a parent, we should be continually speaking life into our kids! Praising them when they do good! Giving them high fives and fist bumps! If we don’t; who else will?

We even need to let them know when they are out of line! Just because they are doing something right; it doesn’t mean they won’t be wrong sometimes! Pull them aside and let them know; but in love! Don’t tear them down and don’t belittle them!

Did our parents miss these important steps in our growing up? Is this why so many adults are so out of focus? Is this why so many are walking around acting and sounding dysfunctional? And just don’t know who they are? Really know who they are? Society will suck you into their dysfunction and have you playing a role far from who God called you to be!

Who has God called you to be?

Have you figured it out yet?

Are you walking in your purpose or running away from it?

Dear Future Husband: #SpiritualSundays

“He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the Lord.” Proverbs 18:22 (NKJV)

Let’s start by getting the obvious out of the way; everyone isn’t cut out for marriage!! While many have the desire to get married; you need another willing candidate to complete the union!

Women; your husband should choose you! The man should find you! Christian Women; your husband should choose you and ask you to marry him. Men; you should be asking the woman to marry you; not the other way around!

There seems to be some switch in how it is traditionally done and many have adopted this “new age” option that it’s okay for a woman to ask a man; to marry them! I’m sorry but I’m old school and still believe in the man asking the woman to marry him and scripture backs that up!

I did a podcast recently on my thoughts in more detail on this subject! You can listen here: https://anchor.fm/tamara06/episodes/Marriage–Family-Part-1-e3ls0j

As a woman that has the desire to be married; to be a wife; are you preparing yourself? As a man that has the desire to be married; to be a husband; are you preparing yourself? Have you cleared out all the clutter that you’ve picked up and stored over the years? Have you detached yourself from the soul ties that are clinging on for dear life because they don’t want to let go? Don’t you think this is important before you make a lifetime commitment to someone else? Don’t you think you should be free emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically from all the other people that have come through your life; that you’ve slept with and had intimate relations with?

My personal opinion is yes! Why bring old baggage into a new relationship? Why wouldn’t you take the time to get free? So many men and women don’t take the take to detach or heal and they jump right into another relationship!

Biblically as children of God; if you’re single you shouldn’t be sleeping around; but many of us do! Some of us finally decide to part from our wicked ways and ask God for forgiveness and make the commitment to be sex-free until marriage!

Is it easy; for some; no but it can be done! It has to be a personal decision! For me it became easier because my Faith began to outweigh everything else! I know and believe that God wants me to have the desires of my heart and that He only wants to give me His best!

Temptation is a beast and if you don’t find ways to handle it; it will overtake you each and every time! The enemy knows what you like and he will stop at nothing to get you out of order! But you have to be strong and courageous and out smart him! You have to want and believe that God has greater in store for you and stop falling for the enemy’s version of what appears good at that time!

For men; women will throw themselves at you if they see and believe you are going places; especially if you are walking in or towards your God-given purpose! All of them aren’t doing it because they actually like or want you! They are on assignment from the enemy and you know what his sole purpose is.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”. John 10:10 (NKJV)

The same applies for women! If the enemy sees you beginning to get your life on track and you’re on your God given path; then he will throw in some distractions, some road blocks and some illusions to get you off track; stay focused.

Marriage isn’t a walk in the park! It’s going to require commitment to making it work and both parties being equally yoked and on one accord! You both have to be working towards the same objective and your mindsets should be connected and in unison. This is why you can’t marry for reasons outside of what God designed marriage for!

You can’t marry for financial gain! God can take it all away in the blink of an eye! You can’t marry for their outward appearance only; because that doesn’t last! You can’t marry because their sex game is tight; they’ll get old one day and won’t be able to lay it down anymore! You can’t marry because you don’t want to be alone because they can easily walk away and never look back!

This is where the first scripture I shared comes into play; Proverbs 18:22! When you choose the right person that God has designed specifically for you; then everything else has already been added into the equation!! God is only going to send/present you with His best!

“And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” Genesis 2:18

“Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said:

“This is now bone of my bones

And flesh of my flesh;

She shall be called Woman,

Because she was taken out of Man.” Genesis 2:21-23 (NKJV)

If you’re walking in your purpose and connect with someone that God didn’t send or create specific to you; then what happens? When the attack’s start to come in; are they equipped to handle them? Do they know where the attack’s are coming from and know how to handle them? These questions are vital! How can a woman or man not designed to be part of your life recognize spiritual warfare; know how to be prepared to block the fiery darts; how to pick up on when someone from the enemies camp has infiltrated your sacred territory?

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?” 2 Corinthians 2:14-15 (NKJV)

Dear Future Husband,

I pray you are well and working on becoming a better man; so we can meet one day. I have been working on myself because I want to be the help meet that Our Heavenly Father has designed me to be. I haven’t always been on the right track in my life but I’m getting there and doing my best to stay on track; how about you?

Ladies do you take out the time to pray for your future husband?

Fellas are you praying that you stay on task for God and are walking upright? Are you keeping your mind, body, soul and spirit free from distractions and soul ties? Are you working on getting free from old mindsets and habits you picked up over the years? Have you willingly let go of all the things and people that no longer serve purpose in your life? Are you preparing yourself to be the husband that God has designed you to be?

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.” Ephesians 5:25-28 (NKJV)

12 Years Single and Counting: From The Desk of a Single Mom

For some; 12 years may seem like a long time. Many think of it only being 12 years of not being in a committed relationship; this is 12 years and counting of no relationship, no dating and no sexual relations!

Very big difference…Anyone can be single but single and no sex; is a whole different ball game! A ball game that many would rather not attend or even be part of.

Some people will tell you that they can’t live without sex! I tell them I’ve had enough sex; to last me a lifetime! Lust isn’t something I’m looking forward to for the rest of my life; I want real unconditional and mutually given love. I’ve had the one sided relationships were you’re the only one interested in commitment and all they want is sex; no thanks I’ll pass.

None of us are perfect! We as women fall for some make believe jokers; who are counterfeit and deceptive. We fell for it; but, don’t allow that to stop you from being an effective woman and an awesome single mom! I’m speaking from experience; I was led to believe that nobody wanted me with kids! Let me tell you somebody wants me! God wants me! God created me to be a purpose-driven woman and can’t no grown boy come in and change that; not anymore!

12 Years Single and Counting:

I didn’t always believe this; I had to get to this place! I had to do my work! I had to release and get delivered from so much that sought to take me out! I had time to get to know me and finally began to love myself….

I became a better Mom! My relationship with my kids was always good; but, it amplified once I surrendered and submitted to God and gave Him my all..

I became a better Woman!

A Purpose-Driven Woman!

A Determined Woman!

A Godly Woman!

A Spiritual Woman!

A Renewed Woman!

I’ve always had the desire to be married but I wanted to be married; to the right man! I didn’t and still don’t believe in divorce. I knew the grown boys that I was playing house with were definitely not fit to fill the role of husband! And, I’m so glad I didn’t settle for the imposters that the enemy had set before me..

3 takeaways I want to leave with you:

1. Don’t allow a defeated mindset to lead you!

2. Don’t allow your right now situation to overtake you.

3. Don’t allow the past situations to immobilize you.

#SpiritualSundays: The Process is Necessary

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (NKJV)

Getting to the promise land; wasn’t an easy task! The Israelites had to go through the process! Getting to the Cross; wasn’t an easy task! Jesus had to go through the process!

One thing that I love to do is break down the meaning of words; so we all can be on the same page. What does the word process mean?

Definition of process:

  1. “a systematic series of actions directed to some end: to devise a process for homogenizing milk.

  2. a continuous action, operation, or series of changes taking place in a definite manner: the process of decay.”

Both of these definitions give you the meaning of the word process and a visual to aid you in getting the full meaning of the word.

This allows you the ability to know that going through a process isn’t going to be easy! You won’t have that microwave effect; pop it in and in 2 minutes your popcorn kernels are complete and full of flavor! Life and the trials and tribulations you go through won’t have that effect…

The Israelites were in the wilderness for 40 years! Jesus fasted in the desert for 40 days and 40 nights; they both had to go through their own individual process! The levels of what they had to endure were different; but the outcome were similar in nature. The Israelites were attempting to get to the “Promise Land” and Jesus was on his journey to the “Cross”. Both of these encounters were necessary because it teaches us the path that they each had to take to get to their end result! Their blessing!

But guess what? They had to go through the process! Jesus’ time in the desert wasn’t as extensive has the Israelites because “He was about His Father’s business”, He had been groomed for it..(process)…Jesus didn’t come on the scene; until He was well into His 30’s; what do you think He was doing in that time? Being groomed and processed!

The Israelites had been in captivity for many, many years; they had learned behaviors that had to be unlearned! Removed and burned away! How are you held against your will, taught to bow down to foreign practices and be able to just walk into “The Promised Land” ready to walk into your God given purpose; full of blessings and favor, with old baggage? How are you going to be effective for the Kingdom of God?

So many people; including myself want(ed) the microwave (fast) effect to coming out of captivity (trials-tribulations-wilderness-darkness-etc

We want to lay down one day and wake up the next with a changed attitude, a renewed heart, a new lease on life, favor that was endless and more abundance than we can stand!

But guess what? The process is necessary to remove and discard of everything that you picked up and allowed to attach itself to you along the way!

When Jesus was crucified it was a 3 day process before He rose!! But catch this; He had to go through the process of being tempted, being in the wilderness fasting and praying, raising up His disciples and having many of them turn their backs on Him, turning water into wine, walking on water, casting out demons; I can keep going but I think you get what I’m saying!

Jesus has to do something’s! He had to be processed to be prepared to be crucified and then lifted up!! He had to go through the process to get to His finish line!! His victory dance!!

The Israelites’ process took a little longer; 40 years is a long time to be in the wilderness; but guess what? God took care of them the whole time!! He provided for them; he clothed, fed them and gave them shelter! But guess what? They complained and didn’t want to listen to His instructions! They argued with Moses and Joshua more than they listened and followed instructions!

God gave them the tools necessary to get to the “Promise Land” the keys to open up their destiny but they cried, complained and rejected the “process”..

Were they this defiant when they were in bondage? In captivity? Do you remember them saying that they were better off when they were with their oppressor?

How many of us think that our lives were better when we were living as we wanted to? When we were sinning and fornicating? Going to clubs and grinding all up on people; we didn’t even know? Stealing, cursing, doing and selling drugs, etc.. The enemy loves to hold you captive, remind you of the “good ole days” when you were “free”… How does any of those types of behaviors have you free when you’re being held captive and racking up strong holds, generational curses, and soul ties?

To rid of everything that isn’t of God! You have to go through the process of removing it and cutting it off! Will it be easy? No.. Will it be fun? No… Will you enjoy it? No.. But catch this; it’s all worth it; in the end!!!!!!

Jesus got seated at the right hand of the Father; after His process…The Israelites walked or some may have crawled into the “Promise Land”, their entourage was a little light because of their process; but they eventually got there…if they would’ve got on board sooner than later; their process could’ve been quicker!

How much longer are you going to complain? How much longer are you going to fight the process? How much longer are you going to pout and be disobedient?

Let me be the 1st one to tell you; you are holding up your process! You are holding up your blessings, your favor, your abundance; all because you want to have it your way! Guess what? You have to rid yourself of everything that you carried with you while you were in enemy territory! That baggage has to be disposed of! All those un-godly thoughts and practices you picked up while hanging out with the enemy; has to go!

How can God bless you when you’re trying to figure out ways to flip it and make it multiply? How can God bless you when you thinking of ways to sleep your way to the top? How can God bless you when you scheming to take out your competition?

Anything that is “worth” having is going to come with a process!! You want to be refined! You want to be renewed! Washed in the blood! Come out of the fire; untouched!! You have to go through the process!! The “promise land” comes with obedience, blood, sweat, tears, sacrifice and a burning off of the old man; that old woman!! Are you up for the challenge? The process? The re-awakening? This only happens when you say Yes to Our Heavenly Father..the choice is yours!! What do you choose Life or Death?

#Spiritual Sunday’s: I Need A Break….

I Need A Break

Scriptures:

Luke 22:42-46 and Matthew 26:36-46

Have you ever gotten to the place where you’ve just cried out to God and said; Lord I need a break?

People need a break from so many things!

People

Places

Things

Responsibilities

Life

Trials & Tribulations

Need I go on?

As a single mom we often need time from being the only one holding up the family and making sure everything is working as it should!

We have multiple responsibilities and it’s not a walk in the park! Many times; we get stuck and lost in the wilderness and need a hand to reach in and pull us out!

We are always sacrificing ourselves and our needs to make sure our child or children have and the household isn’t lacking! Society always wants to slide in and let us know that we cant be a dad because were not male; and I ask the question; if not us then who? I need a break!

Just like single moms needing a break and a chance to catch our breath.

Jesus often times required breaks from his disciplines to get his mind right and have His quiet time with God. Some of you may be asking what did Jesus need a break from?

Jesus not only had the weight of the world on his shoulders, but He had to deal with so much and still train and prepare his disciples to take over when he left them!

He had to endure the pain that 1 of his own would be the one to deceive him and become tempted and sell him out for a few coins! Can you imagine what that felt like?

Just imagine for a moment; that the very ones that you sought out; to go on the most empowering journey of a lifetime; stabbed you in the back! They sought out temporary desires instead of lifetime blessings! They sought out those things that can be here one minute and gone the next! And they forgot that only God can give the things that are everlasting!

Where would you be if God granted Jesus what He was asking? Where would you be if God took that weight of off Jesus’ shoulders?

Is not easy to serve God! I’m going to say this again so that the people in the back can here me! It’s Not Easy to Serve God! If it was easy; everyone would be doing it! Do you know how many people have walked away from God because of people? Church hurt? Because they haven’t studied the word for themselves and someone told them it was going to be easy!

He is going to bless you with cars, clothes and money! But, what many don’t know is that you have to lay down that old life! Walk into a new one with Jesus and the Holy Spirit on each side and God front and center leading the way!

Acknowledging and serving God is two very different things! Anyone can say that they believe in God! But are you living right?

Are you following his commandments? Leviticus 22:31 “Therefore you shall keep My commandments and perform them: I am the Lord.” This isn’t about being perfect either; it’s about being determined and believing that God wants the best for you; that you will have to make some sacrifices to press through. Philippians 3:14 says this: “I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” When the enemy seeks to take you out and sift you like wheat! You are going to have to know how to stand tall!

You will have to be strong and courageous! Joshua 1:7 “Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.” (NKJV)

When the journey looks rough and you feel a break on the way; pray…

Father God I want my life back! I’m tired of living a defeated life! I’m tired of feeling like I’m alone and not loved! I want the enemy to release his hold on my Mind, my Body, my Soul and my Spirit! Right now I want my past to be the past! I want all my thoughts and my emotions from years before to be released in the atmosphere and set free! I no longer want to live in bondage! I want to be free. In Jesus Mighty Name; Amen!!

#SpiritualSundays: Guest Blogger Evangelist Angie Bee

Let Us Resolve to Go, Speak, Do and be Used in 2019

I was trying to go back to bed this morning, after waking up at 5:00 am. While I was awake, I checked my email (on my phone) and responded to some notifications (on Facebook, on my phone) and I watched the 7:00 am broadcast of a TV show that I shot, edited and produced. My agency was honored to create four programs for a dynamic Prophetess, and they debuted in December on WACX in Orlando Florida. Working on that show was a blessing because it reminded me of the gifts and talents God bestowed upon me, many years ago. Thank you Jesus! I started a load of laundry and put a ham bone in the crock pot, to prepare for soup (Proverbs 31:10 woman) and I sat an read a few pages of the Essence magazine… the one with Former First Lady Michelle Obama on the cover.

By 9:00 am, I had crept back in the bedroom, trying not to disturb my hubby’s blissful snoring. I slid in the bed, tucked the covers over us both and snuggled up to hold him, and go back to sleep. As I was drifting off, I heard a voice in my head say “What about me?” “Yes, Lord! Was my response. I am honored to spend time with you”.

My priorities this morning may have been a bit off, but my resolve to do better is strong and focused. As a result of my willingness to pray and serve Him, I now have this inspirational message to share with each of you.

First: It is time to go. Have you been waiting for the perfect time to move in to a new home, to leave a relationship or go back to school? It is time to go! Not just because it is New Years and folks are making New Years Resolutions, but it is time to go! You have been praying for a breakthrough and waiting for a change, so now be inspired to get up and GO!

Second: Let somebody use you. No, I don’t mean to let someone take advantage of you or abuse you. What I mean is to do something for someone else. Cut the widow’s lawn or take her a plate of food. Shovel the single mother’s snow or meet them at the park for a play-date. Volunteer at your church or the community center and let that toddler paint your fingernails. Let them enjoy your time, for a change.

Third: Speak to someone else. That relative got on your nerves over the holidays. He came to your home with a date, and took home a giant “To-Go” plate. Your aunt gossiped about everyone and complained about the food and your son announced that he was moving back home, with his girlfriend (and they are expecting!). Lord help! You grinned and bore it all, and now it is time to speak to them. Take a deep breath and write a letter. Not an email, use a pen and paper. Write out what you see their problem is, offer a solution based upon your experience and/or training and give them an ultimatum. Let the letter sit for a day or two, re-read it, edit it, re-write it and mail it to them.

Fourth: It is time to do something that scares you. Ask her to marry you. Say “Yes” to him and say “No” to them. Stop avoiding the doctor visit and schedule that surgery. Tell your spouse how you feel and what you want to see change and step out on faith to launch that ministry, that book, that business or even that friendship. There is no reason for your fear and the pressure has been building. My husband always says “Pressure can burst a pipe” and I don’t want you to burst! I was watching an episode of #TalkStoop, and the guest on the show said “Pressure creates Diamonds”. Use that pressure to create something new in your life and don’t delay another moment.

Now, let’s pull all this inspiration into spiritual terms. As an ordained, prophetic evangelist, my foundation scripture is found in Isaiah 6:8 which says “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” I ask the Lord to “send me”. To “speak through me” and to “Use Me”, and, at times, I am scared. I never know where His path will take me or even how I will get there… but my willingness to serve HIM makes my ability stronger than my fears. I serve the Lord with gladness and I use the gifts and talents that He has anointed me with to go where He leads me, to speak to whom He directs me to speak to and to do what He instructs me to do. I go, I speak, I do and I am used, by God.

How can you apply this to your life if you are NOT in ministry, like I am.

Forward this message to someone that needs to learn this message. Use it in your letter that you are writing, or place it on your Vision Board, to inspire your transition. Study 1 Corinthians 12:5-6 which teaches us “5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work”. I am not telling you to attend seminary school and become a missionary, but I am telling you that Our Father has His hand upon every step you take and every move you make. He is the one that is responsible for your waking moments, your peaceful rest and that food upon your plate. If He can take care of the animals in your yard, won’t He take care of you? (“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? – Matthew 6).

Ask Him to lead you and guide you, and don’t move until you hear HIS voice. Strive to study His word and strive to make HIM proud of you. Live for God on the job, in your home, at school and in your community. Take care of your body (His temple) and don’t put ANYTHING or ANYONE ELSE in front of caring for yourself. Be still, and know that HE is your God and keep the faith in knowing that if He brought you out of 2018, then He can do something miraculous for you in 2019. (Isaiah 30:21 English Standard Version (ESV)

21 And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left).

It is time to resolve!

The Power of God…

These scriptures lay down the foundation as it applies to the Power of God….

You have to be equipped if your going to be on guard! Reading the word is one of the steps in the process..

1 Corinthians 1:18

2 Corinthians 12:9

Romans 1:16

Romans 15:13

Ephesians 3:16

2 Timothy 1:8

2 Peter 1:3

Ephesians 1:19

Acts 10:38

1 Corinthians 2:5

Isaiah 40:29-31

Many of us are still not fully grasping the power that we receive from God!

We are still walking around like we don’t know who we are and whose we are!

Many of us release our power and hand it over to the enemy because we don’t believe that we are worthy of it!

We are still giving the enemy full access into our lives and believing the lies that he whispers in our ears; and therefore relinquishing our rights to the power of God!

You must’ve forgotten that the enemy; your enemy and mine only comes to steal, kill and destroy!!

Our Heavenly Father has given you the Authority (Luke 10-19) to crush serpents (snakes) and scorpions (predators) and you’re out here given away that authority to partner with the enemy; because he somehow promised you the world!

We found out in Matthew 4:1-11 that the enemy tried his hardest to tempt Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ but he got shot down!! (Jesus had been fasting for 40 days and 40 nights and he appeared weak and the enemy decided to make his move; but guess what Jesus was still ready and equipped to take him on!)

Do you remember how Jesus shot him down? With the word of God…that’s your number #1 weapon against the enemy!! Your Bible; each and every time he comes to you with his lies you tell him what the Bible says!! What God says! What Jesus says!!

How many of us fall victim when were at our lowest points in life? I’ve come to remind you to Be on guard because the enemy is near and waiting to see who he can devour!

Men and women of God be on guard be aware of your surroundings and of those that are creeping their way into your inner circles! Your friend zone! They come too you smiling and calling you friend, their woman, their man and all the while silently plotting to take you out!! They seek to get you far away from God and the purpose He has placed in you! The Power to be the woman or man He has called you to be!!

God has placed something in you that only you can deliver! Only you can bring to life and that’s the very thing that the enemy wants to get access to so he can use it for himself or bury it where you won’t be able to recover it! Take back your Power and shut the enemy down once and for all…

How many of you are ready to take your Power back?

#SpiritualSundays: What Do You See?

By Tarsha L. Campbell

I once heard a preacher say, You have to see it before you see it. What he was basically talking about was the importance of having a vision when pursuing any thing in your life. I personally think having a vision cant be underestimated. It is one of the foundational building blocks when creating the life you want and the life God has prepared for you.

Along with being a coach, Im also a graphic designer. In college one of the first things we were trained and conditioned to do was cultivate our vision. No matter how creative and gifted we thought we were, we couldnt just jump into a project before we took time to draw out some sketches. The sketches helped us map out what we wanted to produce and create.  In essence, we were envisioning the end result of what we wanted or could possibly create. I cant begin to tell you how valuable this small step has been, and continues to be in my businesses, ministry and personal life. Tapping into the power of vision helps me draw out whats in the Spirit realm. I have come to realize that as I utilize the power of vision, and move forward to create what I have seen, the divine forces of creativity comes along side me to make my vision a reality in the Earth realm. This is a powerful principle! Powerful!

Being able to envision a thing is apart of our spiritual DNA. Its one of the things that make us like God. When vision is coupled with divine creativity (creativity is another thing that makes us like God), the sky is the limit on what we can do and accomplish! I want to encourage you to cultivate the power of vision in you. Spend time with God and ask Him to show you what He envisions for your life. Then ask Him to activate His creative power in you to make your vision a reality.

#SpiritualSundays: Do You Want to be Made Well?

Do you want to be made well?

God isn’t looking for “perfect people” He is seeking out and raising up individuals that aren’t afraid to “change”…

Read John 5:1-15 this will make more sense; after you read that scripture!!

You have to want it!

You have to be willing?

You have to become renewed!

Your mindset has to change!

Many of us go through life like we have all this time to make a change!

To be the change we so what to see in the world!

We continue to run with the same crowds that we’ve been warned to part from!

We continue as women and men to continue to allow those in our beds that have no desire to make the commitment for life; all for a mere few seconds of pleasure!

We continue to look others up and down and curse the ground they walk on because we assume they are doing better than us; they have more than us!

We continue to straddle the fence between good and evil because even though we know God; we still like to be tempted by Satan!

We continue to allow tv’s,video games and the streets to raise our kids because we haven’t made the full responsibility of really being a parent!

We continue to allow society to call the shots when God has actually given us the power to change the very things that society wants pushed aside.

We continue to sit silently while our young boys, fathers, grandfathers and even our sisters, mothers, grandmothers be shot down like dogs in the street by those that are supposed to protect and serve!

Many of us look away because we are privileged to not know the struggle of so many and refuse to be apart of the change that needs to take place!

How many of us are waiting around for someone else to come and save us? To help us change? To help us reach that next level?

That man waited 38 years for someone to help him!! Don’t be like him! Jesus came to his rescue but he eventually had to be obedient! Take up your mat and walk!! Take back your life and walk!! Take back your power and walk! Find your voice and use it to be the light in someone’s darkness!

So I ask you again “Do You Want To Be Made Well?”

#SpiritualSundays: We All Are Created In His Image…

Not too many will take out the time and read this; for those that will thank you. Thank you for not just scrolling by; because the title may not move you.

How many know that titles don’t really give you the full picture? Titles set you up for what’s to come. It’s going to give you something to think about and have you curious to what’s next.

In this world of social media many are only seeking for amusement, entertainment, cheap temporary pleasure, new dance challenges; etc.

What happened to seeking out those things that will change your life or the lives of those around you? What happened to being a change agent? Finding out truth to share with others; making a difference in someone else’s life? This world and many of those in it; have become selfish and only seeking personal gain; personal satisfaction!

While the title says: We are all created in His image; many have strayed away. They don’t embody what it means to be friendly, neighborly, loving, caring, compassionate, understanding, etc.

“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis 1:27

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

While they possess human form their speech, thoughts, actions and reactions mimic those of pure evil.

“But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess.” Deuteronomy 30:17-18

Many don’t worry about what takes place in the world today because it hasn’t affected them. It hasn’t come knocking at their door. Why should they care what happens to others; they are just out here living their best life.

Speaking up about what is plaguing this world and the lives of many; takes heart, courage and unselfishness!

Jesus came to the world for everyone; not just a certain group of people. He came so that everyone can have a better; more fulfilling life. He didn’t come so that some can bamboozle their way through life and make it harder for others to have access to resources to live their lives.

Today in church my Pastor said something that I will repeat: “We have to look in the mirror”, when was the last time you looked in the mirror? Do you like the person you see? Are you a change agent? Do you advocate for others? Are you an unselfish person? Do you believe we all should be able to live a life of abundance? Do you believe we are all created in His image?
