Bid Me to Come: I Am A Water Walker!

Read: Matthew 14:22-33

✓ Are you a water walker? Are you a servant; a disciple of Jesus Christ?

✓ Jesus himself came to serve! Not only that He was about His Father’s Business!!

What are your goals and aspirations for 2020 and beyond? What are you going to do differently that you did in the previous years? Will you advance or will you continue to be idle and stagnant?

2020 is your year to stop hiding behind that mask; unveil your true self and take the mask off!

2020 is the year that people will begin to show their true colors.

2020 is your year to stop checking for folks that aren’t checking for you; and stop looking foolish!

2020 is the year for you to do a new thing; old stuff has no place in the new year!

2020 is the year that you decide to change!

2020 is the year that you decide to start walking in your purpose!

2020 is the year for you to get out of your own way!

2020 is the year for you to stop being co-dependent on other people and  live your life!

2020 is the year that you will be servant lead and stop being so selfish and self centered!

So we are in the last couple months of the new year and even though we have been in this pandemic; God has still been GOOD!! Stop letting this lies and negative people rule your life, your thoughts, your actions and the path that God has you on! You have to come off the start line like you know it’s going to be popping! Come out the gate like what up? I’m here and ready to take on the day; everyday! 2021 HERE WE COME!!

Lord as I take the first step toward getting out of the boat; I pray that you bid me to come! Show me the way the right way to go; don’t allow me to stray to the left or to the right! Keep my path straight in the direction leading right to you; in your son Jesus name I pray Amen!

Standing Out in an Extroverted World

“I don’t fit in and never will. God has created me to stand out”. Tamara McCarthy

This quote came to me just this week as I was sitting at my desk at work. I love it when out of nowhere some kind of inspiration is downloaded into my mind, spirit and my soul. It made my day and put a smile on my face; has that ever happened to you?

I have always knew I was different! I have never liked crowds, I always hold up the walls at parties; and I don’t mind being alone. Some people will lose their minds when they are left alone; not me I enjoy my peace and quiet.

But when God calls you out of your comfort zone you do what you are supposed to do! Obey..

Spiritual Sunday’s: Are You Saved?

Are You Saved?

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

Romans 10:9-10

Do you realize how many people attend church and aren’t saved?

Is there an exact estimate?

If there was, the numbers would baffle you! Many people attend church out of tradition; their grand mama went to church and they mama; so they Have to go! Or that’s where you can find a good woman or man; so they are there trying to find love or a warm body! They go because their family member is the Pastor, Minister, Deacon or what have you!

But, how many are actually there for God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit? So, my question again is; are you Saved?

Do you have a personal relationship with your Creator, Heavenly Father; your Lord and Savior? Do you know Him?

Do you follow his commandments as best you can; because none of us are perfect! We all will stumble; but will you get back up? Will you get back up and grab others by the hand and run towards Jesus and not away to hide out with the enemy?

Will you offer encouragement to another fallen sheep to get them back on their journey? Will you offer inspiration on how God did it for you and He can most certainly do it for them? Will you be a witness? A willing vessel for the Army of the Lord?

Why Are You Here?

Matthew 5:1-16

Jesus gave His disciples a PEP TALK….

Jesus never missed out on an opportunity to TEACH His disciples! He knew he wouldn’t physically be with them forever, so He wanted to equip them to be effective when He departed from them!

He never shied away from speaking life into them; encouraging, motivating and empowering them to do the same things that he was able to do. But he also let them know when they were slacking off and not being who he had called them to be!

He wanted to let them know while he was training them to be fishers of men that it wouldn’t be an easy task. The road wouldn’t be easy; they would encounter many trials and tribulations on their journey; but he wanted to instill in them that they were above all that they would encounter.; and no matter how it looked or how it felt! He would always be with them!

As children of the Most High God this still applies to us this very day! The same words that Jesus spoke to His disciples have the same effect and power today! No matter your situation or circumstance; you’re still BLESSED! No matter what you’re going through when you’re living for more of God and less of you; You’re still Blessed!! But guess what?

As Children of God; we are the Salt of the Earth and the Light of the World! We will have to be the light not only for ourselves but for those around us too. We will have to share our trials and tribulations as well as our revelations. How can we be called to be the light and salt of the world; yet won’t help our brother and sister along the way? How are we to go through life and not shine our light throughout? Our testimony can be the very thing that someone else needs to hear to get their breakthrough!

Everyone won’t understand what they are going through especially those that are called “babes in Christ”. I wish I had someone who pulled me aside when I first became saved/a born again Christian-When I got baptized my first and second time and tell me young lady this journey won’t be easy, but you keep pushing. The enemy will be hot on your trail, but you keep pushing. This journey to be a sheep-a servant-a chosen and willing vessel-for the Kingdom of God; won’t always be bright and sunny; But You Keep Pushing!

Salt by itself isn’t that appealing but when it is partnered with the right ingredients-the right words-the right motives-the right intentions-the results are God driven and not Human driven—we have endless examples of Willing Vessels shining their light and sprinkling salt when needed to get Kingdom results-just as they paved the way for us; we have to pave the way for others by shining our light.

We will have to take a stand on practices that aren’t of God—as well as people-places-things that don’t line up with the word of God. Everyone doesn’t represent the Kingdom of God; many are lovers of darkness that have crept into the House of God and they are on assignment to try and get you on their team; get you off track- and out of the will of God; but be on guard and don’t allow them to overtake you.

We all have to learn to shine brighter than our problems; our emotions and especially our haters. This is why it is so vital for us as Children of God to stay in His word; speak His word and live His word!

We are to be the light of the world; we should be front and center shining our light all over the world!

We should be taking others under our wing and showing them the proper way to do things. The proper way of living for God! The proper way to represent God! We can’t assume that they are observing us from afar.

Older women should be mentoring the younger women/girls making sure our walk with God is on point!

Older men should be mentoring the younger men/boys and making sure their walk with God is on point.

Aren’t we all supposed to be obedient to God? From what I read I don’t see where any of us are exempt. Some think since they have reached a certain age their time is done; they paid their dues; why are you Here? Why are you still coming into God’s house if you don’t want to be used by him? He doesn’t need you to just show up because you got a new dress or a new suit; he is still looking for willing vessels; will you be one? Abraham and Sarah both thought their time was up: but God still used them!

God knows his children! He knows the ones he can give certain tasks and assignments too! God is seeking out those that will be obedient; not only look the part, he has enough of those roaming around; he wants those that will answer the call and take action. He doesn’t need any more bench warmers he wants those that are ready to carry the torch! Be the light in a dark and gloomy world and isn’t afraid of going up against the big bad wolf!

Some of us lukewarm Christians only want surface Jesus! Just enough of him to get by. But God requires Total Surrender! That requires US giving Him OUR all!

What are you doing in your life that is a reflection in the God you claim to serve?

Just you coming to church every Sunday sitting in the pews and giving your Amen here and there; putting your $20 in the collection plate; that doesn’t warrant a life running after Jesus; wanting more of God!

You want God to bless and heal you, but you won’t give Him access to your life. You keep him at bay until an emergency comes up and that’s when you start crying out to Him? That’s when you start asking everyone to pray for you? Why not be proactive and talk and pray to God each and every day? Why not Give Him full access into your life? Isn’t that what Jesus did? Every chance He got He was going away by himself to have quiet time to commune and talk with God! I remember seeing these words that Jesus spoke in Luke 22:42 “Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will; but thine, be done” All Jesus wanted to do was the work of His Father; All He wanted was to complete the assignment He was sent here to do! If Jesus did it why can’t you?

It’s Just the Beginning: #Spiritual Sunday’s

Job 13:15-18 The Message (MSG)

“So hold your tongue while I have my say, then I’ll take whatever I have coming to me.

Why do I go out on a limb like this and take my life in my hands? Because even if he killed me, I’d keep on hoping. I’d defend my innocence to the very end.

Just wait, this is going to work out for the best—my salvation! If I were guilt-stricken do you think I’d be doing this—laying myself on the line before God?

You’d better pay attention to what I’m telling you, listen carefully with both ears. Now that I’ve laid out my defense, I’m sure that I’ll be acquitted.” (MSG)

When you read through the chapters of the book of Job you find out that Job was taken through the fire!! He lost a lot! He friends believed he did something wrong and even his wife doubted him!! But through it all Job kept his Faith in God and his blessings were multiplied!! He got double for his trouble…Why would your situation or mine be any different? Shouldn’t we have to go through the fire as well?

Could it be the very struggles your dealing with is because the enemy thinks you’re too laid back and wants to ruffle your feathers?

Sometimes you have to be crushed; in order to rebuild…..to refocus…to re-adjust!! If everything is going well in your life.. then what do you need God for? What do you need Faith for? Some of us need to be reminded of who and what got us to the heights we have reached! The tables we have sat at! The places we have been!

Crushing shouldn’t always be viewed as the end of something; but the beginning of something that is going to change the outlook and the pinnacle of your life.

Pinnacle:

1. a lofty peak.

2. the highest or culminating point, as of success, power, fame, etc.: the pinnacle of one’s career.

3. any pointed, towering part or formation, as of rock. Dictionary.com

You want your life to be transformed!! That requires Crushing to take place!!

Everything that no longer serves you: needs to be crushed….the season that you’re walking into and the greatness that God is about to allow to unfold in your life; can’t happen unless there is Crushing of old habits, old mindsets, old reactions, old relationships, they all need to be Crushed!!

Let’s look at it like this; what’s one of the hardest moments in your life? Most of us will have multiple moments buts let’s focus on just one for now. What happened? At what point in your life did it happen? Who came to your rescue? Did you survive?

Every crushing moment isn’t meant to kill you-it may feel like something has died or been removed from your life; but are you still opening your eyes every morning? Are you still getting up and standing on your own two feet? Are you able to walk to the mirror and your reflection is staring back at you? If you answered yes to all these questions then you Sir, You Maam have been granted a new lease on life! What are you going to do with it?

#SpiritualSundays: The Process is Necessary

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (NKJV)

Getting to the promise land; wasn’t an easy task! The Israelites had to go through the process! Getting to the Cross; wasn’t an easy task! Jesus had to go through the process!

One thing that I love to do is break down the meaning of words; so we all can be on the same page. What does the word process mean?

Definition of process:

  1. “a systematic series of actions directed to some end: to devise a process for homogenizing milk.

  2. a continuous action, operation, or series of changes taking place in a definite manner: the process of decay.”

Both of these definitions give you the meaning of the word process and a visual to aid you in getting the full meaning of the word.

This allows you the ability to know that going through a process isn’t going to be easy! You won’t have that microwave effect; pop it in and in 2 minutes your popcorn kernels are complete and full of flavor! Life and the trials and tribulations you go through won’t have that effect…

The Israelites were in the wilderness for 40 years! Jesus fasted in the desert for 40 days and 40 nights; they both had to go through their own individual process! The levels of what they had to endure were different; but the outcome were similar in nature. The Israelites were attempting to get to the “Promise Land” and Jesus was on his journey to the “Cross”. Both of these encounters were necessary because it teaches us the path that they each had to take to get to their end result! Their blessing!

But guess what? They had to go through the process! Jesus’ time in the desert wasn’t as extensive has the Israelites because “He was about His Father’s business”, He had been groomed for it..(process)…Jesus didn’t come on the scene; until He was well into His 30’s; what do you think He was doing in that time? Being groomed and processed!

The Israelites had been in captivity for many, many years; they had learned behaviors that had to be unlearned! Removed and burned away! How are you held against your will, taught to bow down to foreign practices and be able to just walk into “The Promised Land” ready to walk into your God given purpose; full of blessings and favor, with old baggage? How are you going to be effective for the Kingdom of God?

So many people; including myself want(ed) the microwave (fast) effect to coming out of captivity (trials-tribulations-wilderness-darkness-etc

We want to lay down one day and wake up the next with a changed attitude, a renewed heart, a new lease on life, favor that was endless and more abundance than we can stand!

But guess what? The process is necessary to remove and discard of everything that you picked up and allowed to attach itself to you along the way!

When Jesus was crucified it was a 3 day process before He rose!! But catch this; He had to go through the process of being tempted, being in the wilderness fasting and praying, raising up His disciples and having many of them turn their backs on Him, turning water into wine, walking on water, casting out demons; I can keep going but I think you get what I’m saying!

Jesus has to do something’s! He had to be processed to be prepared to be crucified and then lifted up!! He had to go through the process to get to His finish line!! His victory dance!!

The Israelites’ process took a little longer; 40 years is a long time to be in the wilderness; but guess what? God took care of them the whole time!! He provided for them; he clothed, fed them and gave them shelter! But guess what? They complained and didn’t want to listen to His instructions! They argued with Moses and Joshua more than they listened and followed instructions!

God gave them the tools necessary to get to the “Promise Land” the keys to open up their destiny but they cried, complained and rejected the “process”..

Were they this defiant when they were in bondage? In captivity? Do you remember them saying that they were better off when they were with their oppressor?

How many of us think that our lives were better when we were living as we wanted to? When we were sinning and fornicating? Going to clubs and grinding all up on people; we didn’t even know? Stealing, cursing, doing and selling drugs, etc.. The enemy loves to hold you captive, remind you of the “good ole days” when you were “free”… How does any of those types of behaviors have you free when you’re being held captive and racking up strong holds, generational curses, and soul ties?

To rid of everything that isn’t of God! You have to go through the process of removing it and cutting it off! Will it be easy? No.. Will it be fun? No… Will you enjoy it? No.. But catch this; it’s all worth it; in the end!!!!!!

Jesus got seated at the right hand of the Father; after His process…The Israelites walked or some may have crawled into the “Promise Land”, their entourage was a little light because of their process; but they eventually got there…if they would’ve got on board sooner than later; their process could’ve been quicker!

How much longer are you going to complain? How much longer are you going to fight the process? How much longer are you going to pout and be disobedient?

Let me be the 1st one to tell you; you are holding up your process! You are holding up your blessings, your favor, your abundance; all because you want to have it your way! Guess what? You have to rid yourself of everything that you carried with you while you were in enemy territory! That baggage has to be disposed of! All those un-godly thoughts and practices you picked up while hanging out with the enemy; has to go!

How can God bless you when you’re trying to figure out ways to flip it and make it multiply? How can God bless you when you thinking of ways to sleep your way to the top? How can God bless you when you scheming to take out your competition?

Anything that is “worth” having is going to come with a process!! You want to be refined! You want to be renewed! Washed in the blood! Come out of the fire; untouched!! You have to go through the process!! The “promise land” comes with obedience, blood, sweat, tears, sacrifice and a burning off of the old man; that old woman!! Are you up for the challenge? The process? The re-awakening? This only happens when you say Yes to Our Heavenly Father..the choice is yours!! What do you choose Life or Death?

The Power of God…

These scriptures lay down the foundation as it applies to the Power of God….

You have to be equipped if your going to be on guard! Reading the word is one of the steps in the process..

1 Corinthians 1:18

2 Corinthians 12:9

Romans 1:16

Romans 15:13

Ephesians 3:16

2 Timothy 1:8

2 Peter 1:3

Ephesians 1:19

Acts 10:38

1 Corinthians 2:5

Isaiah 40:29-31

Many of us are still not fully grasping the power that we receive from God!

We are still walking around like we don’t know who we are and whose we are!

Many of us release our power and hand it over to the enemy because we don’t believe that we are worthy of it!

We are still giving the enemy full access into our lives and believing the lies that he whispers in our ears; and therefore relinquishing our rights to the power of God!

You must’ve forgotten that the enemy; your enemy and mine only comes to steal, kill and destroy!!

Our Heavenly Father has given you the Authority (Luke 10-19) to crush serpents (snakes) and scorpions (predators) and you’re out here given away that authority to partner with the enemy; because he somehow promised you the world!

We found out in Matthew 4:1-11 that the enemy tried his hardest to tempt Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ but he got shot down!! (Jesus had been fasting for 40 days and 40 nights and he appeared weak and the enemy decided to make his move; but guess what Jesus was still ready and equipped to take him on!)

Do you remember how Jesus shot him down? With the word of God…that’s your number #1 weapon against the enemy!! Your Bible; each and every time he comes to you with his lies you tell him what the Bible says!! What God says! What Jesus says!!

How many of us fall victim when were at our lowest points in life? I’ve come to remind you to Be on guard because the enemy is near and waiting to see who he can devour!

Men and women of God be on guard be aware of your surroundings and of those that are creeping their way into your inner circles! Your friend zone! They come too you smiling and calling you friend, their woman, their man and all the while silently plotting to take you out!! They seek to get you far away from God and the purpose He has placed in you! The Power to be the woman or man He has called you to be!!

God has placed something in you that only you can deliver! Only you can bring to life and that’s the very thing that the enemy wants to get access to so he can use it for himself or bury it where you won’t be able to recover it! Take back your Power and shut the enemy down once and for all…

How many of you are ready to take your Power back?

Spiritual Sunday’s: Have You Seen My Crown? Written by Guest Blogger Evangelist Angie Bee

Have You Seen My Crown?

September is Alopecia Awareness month, and all month long, I have been wearing my crown. I have alopecia and I have covered my hair loss, in one form or another, for over twenty years.

According to the National Alopecia Areata website at www.NaaF.org, “Alopecia areata is a common autoimmune skin disease, causing hair loss on the scalp, face and sometimes on other areas of the body. In fact, it affects as many as 6.8 million people in the U.S. with a lifetime risk of 2.1%. People of all ages, both sexes and all ethnic groups can develop alopecia areata. It often first appears during childhood and can be different for everyone who has it”.

When my hair first started to come out, my hairdresser noticed it first. She immediately recommended a weave. First, she would sew it in to my hair. As the bald patches widened, she would glued it directly to my scalp. I was miserable, not being able to scratch my scalp, that became increasingly itchy from the glue. Today, I see women walking around “patting” themselves on the head to avoid scratching. I do not miss that feeling!!

My hairdresser and I tried electric-shock treatments on my scalp. The metallic taste that settled in my mouth was quite alarming. She told me that the sensation was a common after-effect, but that didn’t make it any better. Stubbles of hair grew eventually, but continued to irritate my scalp and fall out, over time. Irritation came in the form of red, swollen, oozing bumps that looked like razor bumps on my scalp; even though I was not using a razor. My hair follicles were rejecting the growing hair, and forcing it to fall out. Once the hair was gone, the scalp quieted and smoothed out again.

During a visit to see my family back in 1999, a dear friend blessed me with a wig. She was actually wearing it the day I saw her, and I commented on how cute her hair was. I told her about my hair loss and my medical diagnosis. She was so moved by my circumstance that she snatched the braided wig off her head, and blessed me with it! I wore that wig for YEARS. My visit with her was during a time of mourning for me, as my mother had then recently transitioned to heaven. I shared with my friend that my mother had alopecia, and my mom joked about it with me. “Why can’t the hairs on my chin fall out, like the hairs on my head fall out?”, she would exclaim. I placed my mother’s favorite church hat on her head, for her viewing and funeral; and bought my first church hat to wear, for the occasion.

The bible teaches us in

1 Corinthians 11:15 (NIV) – “but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering”.

I had no hair to cover me. Why not? was my cry.

Luke 12:7 (NLT) – “And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows”.

God, I too can count the hairs on my head. All two of them!

Matthew 10:30 (NIV) – “And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered”.

Yes Lord. Luke and Matthew said the same thing!

Proverbs 16:31 (NIV) – “Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness”.

I will never see a crown of splendor on my head, for my hair will never turn gray. Does this mean that I am not righteous?

1 Corinthians 11:6 (NIV) – “For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head”.

My grandmother says that she won’t enter the church building without covering her head with a hat. Does this mean that I am a disgrace, because of my shaved head?

Five different scriptures concerning a woman and her hair may be found, during a random Google search. FIVE SCRIPTURES! I know that the custom and geographic location of the biblical authors may have helped motivated the questions that led to these lessons. It was HOT in the desert, and maybe people asked their leaders about hair styles and such. It is certainly worth doing the research to find answers to those questions. However, for my personal purposes, the revelation was forced upon me.

I wore wigs while my children grew up, because I didn’t want to embarrass them. Kids can be mean-spirited and tease their peers about all sorts of things, so I didn’t want my children to be teased because of me. I also didn’t want to be teased! I didn’t want people looking at my bald head and wonder if something was wrong with me, or wonder if I was “contagious”. Even in the midst of summer heat, in Florida, I continued to wear wigs. I had even embraced 1 Corinthians 11:15 and started purchasing LONG wigs! I figured, if I was going to have to BUY my glory, I might as well buy a long one!

Recently, symptoms of menopause kicked in, with a vengeance. The unmerciful hot flashes, mixed with the humid temperatures in Florida made my wigs feel like a “fiery-furnace”. I looked ridiculous with sweat pouring from my head, while my “hair” was dry-as-a-bone. Were the heavens trying to tell me something? It was time for a revelation. I needed to embrace a different kind of “crowning glory” in order to continue on the path that God placed me on.

What do the following scriptures all have in common?

1 Peter 3:3

1 Timothy 2:9

These scriptures instruct women to “not adorne themselves with elaborate hairstyles”. Verse 10 of 1 Timothy Chapter 2 continues to instruct by saying, “but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God”.

THAT IS MY CROWN! My good deeds and worship of God is MY crown! There it was, in black and white. My crowning glory are my deeds and my obedience to God. PRAISE THE LORD FOR REVELATION!

Now, I strut around town with my bald head glistening in the sun! I serve the Lord with gladness as HIS bald Queen. Our Father allowed me to thrive with alopecia, in order to be a conversation-starter with others. When I am asked, “Why are you bald? Are you sick? Do you have cancer?” I can now respond with “I serve the Lord with gladness and He wanted me to tell you that He loves you! Do you know about Jesus? May I introduce you to him?” I realized that, the elaborate wigs I wore may have made others admire me, but my bald head invites others to TALK to me. An open conversation is an open invitation for evangelism.

Am I worried about being teased? Naw! The bible has a story about that, too! In 2 Kings 2:23-24 we read the following story:

“From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some boys came out of the town and jeered at him. “Get out of here, baldy!” they said. “Get out of here, baldy!” He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys.

As a servant of the Lord, I won’t be cursing no one, any time soon, but the story does encourage me to lift my head a little higher. (lol).

On Saturday, October 6, 2018, my husband and I will present the 2nd Annual Bold Beautiful & Bald Beauty Bazaar and Weekend Retreat. Our inaugural event last year was delayed a couple of weeks, due to the hurricane hitting Florida. I walked out to MC the event wearing my new “crown” … wearing a kiss from God on my head. My glistening bald head was an encouraging factor to so many women, based upon the comments we received, and the tears that I saw shed as I shared my testimony. Women asked us to do it again, and in response, it is now an annual event. This year, we will have eight bald women, modeling in our fashion show! We have fifteen scheduled vendors and a few of them have stated that they too have alopecia. In fact, right here in our city we have one prominent woman that “came to herself” since the first beauty bazaar. She is now bald, and sporting HER crown. I interviewed her on camera and the beauty bazaar attendees will witness the debut of this interview. You can learn more about the event on our website at http://daqueenbee.com/bbb.html and GOOGLE the hashtags #Bold #Beautiful #Bald #Beauty #Bazaar to lead you to our Facebook page, our event pages and videos from our vendors and sponsors.

When we were infants, our mother’s swaddled us and covered us with blankets. In my mind, my long wigs were a covering; a blanket over my self-confidence. Now that God has enlarged my mind, my territory and my ability; I am uncovered for a reason. My bald head give GOD the glory, while it serves as my personal crowning glory. Have you seen my bald head? Have you seen my crown?

Then I heard the Lord asking,

#SpiritualSundays: It’s Time To Find Your Voice..Like Right Now!

Do you know how many times the word voice appears in the Bible? In the amplified version; it appears 397 times!

I will be pointing out some of the scripture that pertains to voice throughout this post.

“Through your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have heard and obeyed My voice.” Genesis 22:18 AMP

“But Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, nor will I let Israel go.” Exodus 5:2 AMP

“God heard the voice of the boy, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, “What troubles you, Hagar? Do not be afraid, for God has heard the voice of the boy from where he is [resting]”. Genesis 21:17 AMP

“Then the Lord spoke to you from the midst of the fire; you heard the sound of the words, but you saw no form—there was only a voice”. Deuteronomy 4:12 AMP

How do you use your voice?

Do you inspire?

Do you motivate?

Do you encourage?

Do you empower?

Or do you ridicule?

Do you tear others down?

Do you spread hate or lies?

Do you gossip?

It’s time to use your voice but for good and not evil….

Social media has given everyone the opportunity to be seen and heard. Some people use it for good and others not so good. The one thing that I like about social media is that those that choose to use their voice to spread love; have the ability too! You never know who will stumble across your message and it’s something that they need to hear! The power to change lives just by speaking!

Now isn’t that powerful! There is power in your voice; use it wisely….

Is it Time for a Shift? #Mindset Monday’s

Mindset: This is generally your attitude towards something or someone. You make up in your mind how you feel and that lays the foundation on how you deal or interact…..

If you have a positive outlook; then your attitude or mindset is positive!

If you have a negative outlook; then your attitude or mindset is negative!

If you don’t like someone or they don’t like you; then generally the interaction will be limited or negative.

If you’re consistently thinking something will go wrong; then most likely it will; because your thought process will generate what you think on the most.

Have you heard the saying, “You are what you eat?“; the same applies to how you speak and how your thought process is!

If your consistently speaking negative in and over your life; how does that make room for any positive to come in? And this applies to what others my say or speak in and over your life as well! There have been a few times where I’ve had to stop or correct others for speaking negativity into/over my life!

Words are very powerful; even when their negative! That’s why we have to “think before we speak”! “Death and Life are in the power of the tongue”. Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)

Is it time for a shift in your thinking process? In how you speak about/over yourself and others? How you interact with others? Does your mindset require a shift?

Change isn’t always fun; but in many instances it’s necessary…..
