Bid Me to Come: I Am A Water Walker!

Read: Matthew 14:22-33

✓ Are you a water walker? Are you a servant; a disciple of Jesus Christ?

✓ Jesus himself came to serve! Not only that He was about His Father’s Business!!

What are your goals and aspirations for 2020 and beyond? What are you going to do differently that you did in the previous years? Will you advance or will you continue to be idle and stagnant?

2020 is your year to stop hiding behind that mask; unveil your true self and take the mask off!

2020 is the year that people will begin to show their true colors.

2020 is your year to stop checking for folks that aren’t checking for you; and stop looking foolish!

2020 is the year for you to do a new thing; old stuff has no place in the new year!

2020 is the year that you decide to change!

2020 is the year that you decide to start walking in your purpose!

2020 is the year for you to get out of your own way!

2020 is the year for you to stop being co-dependent on other people and  live your life!

2020 is the year that you will be servant lead and stop being so selfish and self centered!

So we are in the last couple months of the new year and even though we have been in this pandemic; God has still been GOOD!! Stop letting this lies and negative people rule your life, your thoughts, your actions and the path that God has you on! You have to come off the start line like you know it’s going to be popping! Come out the gate like what up? I’m here and ready to take on the day; everyday! 2021 HERE WE COME!!

Lord as I take the first step toward getting out of the boat; I pray that you bid me to come! Show me the way the right way to go; don’t allow me to stray to the left or to the right! Keep my path straight in the direction leading right to you; in your son Jesus name I pray Amen!

Standing Out in an Extroverted World

“I don’t fit in and never will. God has created me to stand out”. Tamara McCarthy

This quote came to me just this week as I was sitting at my desk at work. I love it when out of nowhere some kind of inspiration is downloaded into my mind, spirit and my soul. It made my day and put a smile on my face; has that ever happened to you?

I have always knew I was different! I have never liked crowds, I always hold up the walls at parties; and I don’t mind being alone. Some people will lose their minds when they are left alone; not me I enjoy my peace and quiet.

But when God calls you out of your comfort zone you do what you are supposed to do! Obey..

Finding Your Voice: Part 2. #spiritualsundays

Older guys: I have always liked older guys! If you listened to my interview then you heard me say this; at the time I really didn’t know why, but as time went on I finally figured it out.

1. Father figure: my dad was still in the house but he wasn’t there mentally and emotionally; he had a whole different life that he was living that didn’t include my mom, my siblings or myself. This is why I was so attracted to older men; trying to fulfill that daddy role!

2. Stability: you don’t want to be left alone! You think older guys have it all together; they have lived their life and you hope that they are ready to settle down; but you end up “chasing a dream” and one day you wake up and realize you did it all for nothing!

3. Security: you want to feel safe. In my case I was raped at a young age so safety was high on my list and older guys seemed to be able to fit the bill until they didn’t! Some older guys are just as screwed up as the younger guys you can’t continue to live in a fantasy world and expect real life to just happen one day! I had to figure out the woman that God needed and created me to be; before I could ever realize and know what my future husband can be like!
Have you learned from your past?

If so; what?

That I’m not the weak and naive person; I used to be!

That I can handle anything that comes my way; simply because I am blessed and highly favored, lol with everyone saying this so much; you get tired of hearing it, but it’s true!

Old post that never got posted! 🙂

Spiritual Sunday’s: Are You Saved?

Are You Saved?

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

Romans 10:9-10

Do you realize how many people attend church and aren’t saved?

Is there an exact estimate?

If there was, the numbers would baffle you! Many people attend church out of tradition; their grand mama went to church and they mama; so they Have to go! Or that’s where you can find a good woman or man; so they are there trying to find love or a warm body! They go because their family member is the Pastor, Minister, Deacon or what have you!

But, how many are actually there for God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit? So, my question again is; are you Saved?

Do you have a personal relationship with your Creator, Heavenly Father; your Lord and Savior? Do you know Him?

Do you follow his commandments as best you can; because none of us are perfect! We all will stumble; but will you get back up? Will you get back up and grab others by the hand and run towards Jesus and not away to hide out with the enemy?

Will you offer encouragement to another fallen sheep to get them back on their journey? Will you offer inspiration on how God did it for you and He can most certainly do it for them? Will you be a witness? A willing vessel for the Army of the Lord?

Kingdom Gals: Do you Love Yourself?

On the surface; this seems like an easy question! But if you allow yourself to go beneath the surface; you’ll really gain more insight into finding your answer.

Just recently I was having a conversation with a co/worker and she made a statement that made me think; “we are our own worst critics” she went on to say this “we judge ourselves sometimes more than others judge us; we tend to use more negative self talk than positive”!

While this may be true for some; is it true for all? If we are going through a good season in our lives we tend to be more positive. We have joy and happiness just busting from the seams; why would anything negative have room to pour out of us.

Now when we are going through some trying times we just may have some negativity laying around to pick up and add it to our already overwhelming situation but depending on our spiritual journey; we can bounce back rather quickly; but it’s an individual choice.

When we know who we are; we are fully able to accurately answer this question. Remove the lies and hold on to your truths! You are loved; even when you don’t feel like you are. So again I ask you; do you love yourself?
