Kingdom Gals: No Woman Left Behind

Today September 2, 2017 starts the first of blogs that will discuss all things pertaining to women. It could be about single women, single moms, women in general, self esteem, finding love, getting saved, being celibate, getting over a bad relationship, finding your voice; you name it.

The way this world is setup we need all the help we can get! So many people are out for themselves and what they can accomplish but what about your fellow sister, friend, cousin, neighbor, and even your foe? Why be part of the problem when you can be part of the solution?

This world can be so much better if we could work towards being more loving and kind. Women will hate on another women for no reason at all! I have been on the receiving end of it myself. Walk in a room and the hateful looks come out of nowhere and the crazy thing about it; it's always from women that don't know you! Don't know who you are, whose you are, what you represent, etc. Why is that? Is there really an honest response that can be given?

In order to grow many times a conversation is needed, a dialogue, a change of heart; or a come to Jesus moment!

Some of us may not know what it looks like to love, encourage, motivate, inspire, empower and cheer on the next woman.

Take a look at the scripture below from the Book of Ruth; and when you get some quiet time read about Ruth, Naomi and their relationship.

Ruth 1:16-18

"But Ruth replied, 'Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.' When Naomi realized that Ruth was determined to go with her, she stopped urging her". (NIV)
